Hitting a wall with your health. Looking for a root-cause, holistic approach?

Your symptoms are clues, not something to silence. Together we investigate what’s really going, using science, food, and holistic strategies to restore your body’s natural balance.

Your symptoms are messages

When systems like digestion, energy, sleep, or focus go off track, your body starts sending signals—fatigue, pain, anxiety, skin flare-ups, cravings, or brain fog.

These aren’t random. They’re messages pointing to deeper imbalances like nutrient depletion, inflammation, or microbial and hormonal shifts.

The sooner we listen, the easier it is to restore balance.

Common symptoms and conditions I work with

You don’t need a diagnosis to seek support. Functional Nutrition looks at the patterns connecting your symptoms to their root causes.

You might be experiencing:

• Persistent fatigue or brain fog
• Digestive issues (bloating, IBS, SIBO, reflux, constipation)
• Pain and inflammation (joint pain, headaches, menstrual cramps)
• Skin issues (acne, eczema, psoriasis)
• Hormone imbalances or thyroid shifts
• Anxiety, depression, or poor focus
• Insomnia or restless sleep
• Food sensitivities or nutrient deficiencies
• Chronic infections (Lyme, Mycoplasma, H. pylori, STIs, fungal or viral overgrowth)
• Environmental toxicity (mold exposure, parasites, heavy metals)
• ADD/ADHD, sensory sensitivities, or hyperactivity in children
• Reproductive challenges (endometriosis, PCOS, infertility)
• Autoimmune and inflammatory conditions
• Long-COVID and post-viral fatigue
• Blood sugar imbalance or diabetes
• Premature aging or low cellular energy

Functional Nutrition supports you in understanding and addressing these patterns, whether you’re managing an existing diagnosis or simply trying to feel like yourself again.

A different kind of care

Too often, people are treated like a collection of their symptoms—handed a list of supplements or medications with no clear explanation.

I offer a different path. Through functional nutrition, an integrative practice grounded in curiosity and systems thinking, we connect the dots between your symptoms and your body’s inner workings.

This is investigative work: slow, precise, and deeply personal.

You deserve better answers

If you've been told your labs are "normal" or your symptoms are "in your head," or you’ve lost trust in your body, you are not alone. Many of my clients arrive feeling unheard and exhausted by trial-and-error approaches.

Together, we explore your body’s story, with empathy and science as our guide. I act as your health detective—uncovering the clues that reveal what your body truly needs to restore function and vitality.

  • Functional Nutrition is an approach that looks at why symptoms are happening rather than focusing only on what to eat. Instead of generalized recommendations or standardized plans, it explores the full context of a person’s health, including digestion, nutrient status, stress, environment, life history, and current capacity.

Conventional nutrition often centers on isolated nutrients, calories, or protocols. Functional Nutrition takes a systems-based view, recognizing that the same food or supplement can have very different effects depending on the individual. My work is rooted in this framework, with an emphasis on personalization, safety, and supporting the body’s innate ability to rebalance over time.

  • I work primarily with adults seeking a deeper understanding of chronic or recurring symptoms, including digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, immune challenges, fatigue, and stress-related concerns. Many clients have tried multiple approaches and are looking for a more thoughtful, root-cause perspective.

  • Food and supplements are often part of the journey, but they’re never used in isolation. What works well for one person can feel very different for another, especially when digestion, stress, hormones, or sensitivities are involved. Recommendations are personalized and adjusted over time so they feel realistic in daily life and can evolve as your body responds.

  • When appropriate, yes. Labs can provide valuable insights, but they are never interpreted in isolation. Results are always viewed alongside symptoms, history, and lived experience. If you already have lab work, it’s always considered as part of the bigger picture. Not everyone needs testing, and more data is not always better. Labs are used thoughtfully and strategically, not automatically.

FAQs

  • Healing rarely happens in a single conversation. The first session is about understanding your full story. The second is about connecting patterns and creating a personalized strategy. The third is where we refine, adjust, and support real-world implementation. This structure allows for depth, safety, and sustainable change, rather than quick fixes that often miss the bigger picture.

  • This work is complementary and educational and is not a replacement for medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. I do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medications. The focus is on supporting the body through nutrition, lifestyle, and systems-based approaches. This work is often paired with and can be done in collaboration with your physician or specialist.
